The Anxiety High Book Series is fiction written for introverted teens that struggle to fit in a world that values extroverted behaviors. In the books, Jane Piety Academy has a reputation for being very challenging both academically and socially. So much so, that the students, parents, and teachers often refer to the school as ‘Anxiety High’. Each volume of the Anxiety High Series follows a Jane Piety student through a week where they learn how to be authentically happy and successful as an introvert, while simultaneously championing cultural change so people of all personality types feel like they belong.
Anxiety High Volume 1: There is Nothing Wrong with You! Follow Nyles River as he navigates a challenging school week and learns that there is nothing wrong with him and simultaneously helps make Jane Piety a more inclusive school for all.
Anxiety High Volume 2: You Are Not Alone! Follow Ruby Knoll as she grows as an introverted leader at school while simultaneously managing tremendous pressure to fit in at home by acting extroverted.
Anxiety High Volume 3: Embrace Your Strengths! Follow introverted student council president Sam Silversmith as she hosts 1000 regional students to hear a famous author speak! Sam struggles as internal doubts, which she thought she had overcome, re-emerge. Join Sam as she works to pull off the impossible, with the help of her friends and a couple of unlikely allies, by embracing her introverted superpowers.
There is no right or wrong personality type. The world needs both introverts and extroverts working in environments that allow them to thrive and belong as their authentic selves. When we can create classroom cultures that include students without them having to fit a stereotype, students will finally feel like they belong. They’ll be happier, more productive, and learn more.
Thank you for purchasing, reading, and most importantly sharing the Anxiety High Series with others.
